When it comes to the revelation of God, look no further than Jesus Himself. He is the image of the invisible God. There is no greater wisdom, no greater example, and no greater love. Jesus said, “I have come in order that you might have life—life in all its fullness” (John 10:10 NIV). Although Jesus lived over two thousand years ago, we can still follow Him by following His teachings, His example, and His Spirit. Through these three you can…

  • Be with Jesus (divine union)
  • Be like Jesus (divine transformation)
  • Be serving Jesus (divine mission)

When Jesus was asked which of the commandments was the most important, He said, “‘Love the Lord your God with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, and with every thought that is within you’. This is the great and supreme commandment. And the second is like it in importance: ‘you must love your friend (neighbor) in the same way you love yourself.’ Contained within these commandments to love, you will find all the meaning of the law and the Prophets” (Matthew 22:37-40 TPT). Being with Jesus teaches us to love God which leads to divine union. Being like Jesus teaches us to love ourselves which leads to divine transformation. Being in service to Jesus teaches us to love others which leads to our divine mission in life. This is the ultimate goal. There is no greater path.
